September Forest Bathing Welcome Walk

Each month, join a growing community of walkers for a guided forest bathing experience at Lake County Forest Preserves. These gatherings are open to anyone ages 16 and older — whether you’re brand new to forest bathing or returning to deepen your practice.

Through simple, gentle invitations that engage your senses and heart to feel in the present moment, you're encouraged to slow down, embody and ground, and to connect with the natural world as you explore the forest. Every month brings a new location to explore — from quiet wooded trails to open meadows and pond edges — offering fresh perspectives and seasonal beauty. The walk will conclude with a small celebration featuring tea brewed from native plants harvested from a local garden.

Sliding scale pricing ($10–$40) makes this meet-up accessible to all. Choose the amount that feels right for you.

Come as you are. Leave refreshed, grounded, and connected. Register now!
