November Guided Night Wander
“Darkness, soothe my weary eyes, that I may see more clearly.”
—Shelley Jackson Denham
Join Cathy McCauley, certified relational forest therapy guide, for a special nighttime forest walk. During this two-hour immersion, you will be guided through simple and expansive invitations that awaken your senses, open the door to the wonder of nature and offer you an opportunity to meet the forest in darkness.
This isn’t a hike. It’s a nighttime wander. We’ll walk about a mile, at a slow pace, opening to the calm and quiet of the night.
We’ll close our walk with a forest tea celebration, where we give thanks to the land, as we sip together under the stars.
Curious what nighttime feels like in the forest? Register now and come walk into the night.
Adults, $30/participant.
*Darkness is necessary for this walk, and flashlights will not be provided. If you choose to bring a flashlight, you will be asked to turn it off during the walk. The trail is dimly lit by solar lights, and it is dark. Your eyes will adjust to the low light.
